I think i have done it before, but how do you do what i just asked, if there is a way. I dunno maybe there isnt.

i think you have to buy the instrumental version of the song separately.

As far as I know, you can't. A file is "merged", meaning it is all the same file....there aren't seperate Voice and Instrument files in each song. You can't seperate the two. The only way to get an instrumental version of the song is to download a karyoke version of it.

Yeah, there is no way to *remove* the vocals. The closest you can come to that with iTunes is to reduce the volume of the vocals. Go to 'View' and select 'Show Equalizer' and then choose the "vocal reducer" setting. You'll still be able to hear to vocals, but they will be less noticeable.

Sorry, to tell you, but there isn't.

There are some (expensive) tools out there you could get, but you'd still have to manually unpick the song and music.

Really not worth it, a good karaoke site can be found at http://www.singshot.com
