I work in a warehouse office with another employee. Can they make us work with no heat? Are job gives us these little plug in heaters that don't heat anything and if you get to close there to hot.

We also don't have and benifits. Are they required to give us benifits I've been here over a year?

We also have rats.

Benefits are NOT required. Many companies give them as an additional perk, but they don't have to.

As far as the no heat and the rats - file a complaint with your supervisior in writing, if nothing is satisfied, call OSHA.

Find a new job.

Construction workers work in the cold, and the heat, there are no laws on the books concerning heat.

Benefits are not mandatory (except for government workers, they always get great benes).

They are only required to pay you minimum wage and give you a lunch....Other than that your screwed...I would suggest looking for a new job!
