Assuming there is a god, which has not been proven, the prediction of future events does not make common sense...god or no gods.

The speculation that we have no free will defies common sense and our everyday experience of life. With the intervention of free will, our future, and thus the future of the universe, will follow a path different from the path it would have pursued without our intervention.

In addition to scientific considerations, common sense insists that Free Will exists. Who would deny that we have Free Will when we put one foot in front of the other and decide, of our own volition, of our own Free Will, to go for a walk or not go for a walk? It is clearly irrational to believe that a chain of causality (pre-determination) at the time of the Big Bang determines if we go for a walk this afternoon.

If things are meant to be, perhaps the feelings are related to being comfortable in certain situations or circumstances based on instinct developed over thousands of years....who knows? but at least it makes more sense than the supernatural reason.

I don't believe in destiny too, I believe that whatever we do, there's always a cause. It's can be the routine task we do daily or some adventures we happen to build for ourselves. Be it brushing teeth or murder someone. Anything or anyone can affect all the things in the world. We are link to each other, directly or indirectly.
Just like you being confuse with the questions, & we get to communicate with each other for a few seconds. Do you think we are destined to interact this way? I think we just feel the same way & we need to find some answers to console ourself......

I think you just might believe in destiny. I know exactly what you are saying though. Sometimes things seem to work out a little too well and it is hard not to notice it. It is even harder not to notice it when your mind is in tune with the little divine subtleties that surround us. I think you are probably more in touch with the source than you may realize. Good luck.

To me, life is what we make of it. Every once in a while there are some happy coincidences, though.
