Why do people listen to music? Because it's enjoyable. Telling emos to stop listening to Sunny Day Real Estate and The Get Up Kids and whatnot is like telling a metalhead to stop listening to Iron maiden and pantera.
Then again, there are emos who listen to bad emo music like Simple Plan, Good Charlotte, MCR, Hawthorne Heights,etc., so I can see where you're probably coming from. But don't hate on the tight pants. I personally hate when people wear chains on their pants, it's ridiculous. And pants that are 12 sizes too large. I'd rather wear the skintights than those loser ultra-baggy pants.
