The absolute best, longest lasting pantyhose in the world is Marks & Spencer house brand. I have several pair, still in perfect shape, more than 10 yrs old.

Marks and Spencer have moved downmarket, but their pantyhose are still good.
Their bras also have a very good reputation, though they're more geared to European-sized breasts than American.

I am drawing a blank here because if you wear any hose for a long period of time, they are just going to stretch out and not stay right. The more expensive brands tend to just fall apart like the cheaper ones.
I suggest investing in cheap disposable hose and not plan on reusing any of them if you will be wearing them for longer than 4 hours...
