It is determined by what digit you had amputated. The first digit would get you possibly ( I am guessing) $30-50K depending where you live. after the first digit it will go up. Be careful what lawyers you get, sometimes it is better to settle with the insurance company. The lawyers will get a big bulk of the settlement and you may end up with less than if you settle yourself. Sorry for your loss, I hope everything will be OK.

I would get a workers comp attorney, they should be able to tell you. There is compensation for losing body parts, but age is figured into it as well.
