I can't get it to go all the way up at once. I have to double tap my open button once it stops and it's been acting up going down too. It goes about half way down and re-opens but the light does not flash. It doesnt seem to hang up on anything and it's always in the same spots. I've adjusted the force and everything but no change. I've even unpuged it and let it sit a while just in case it developed some sort of memory.

Probably have a broken spring. Look them over carefully. If you have one that has broken take it off, take with to the store buy new and install.
If that's not the prob. Turn your settings on the opener to 1 on both sides. Then try it, as you see what's the direction that it needs to go in adjust either of the settings one by one to see what the results are.
If that doesn't work, I'm sorry, that's when I call the repair guys.

How old is the opener? If it more than 5 years old, replace opener if you can. This sounds like this could be a bad circuit board (electronic) in the opener, or the sensatitiviy of the opener could be adjusted. Try to adjust the sensativity of the opener first. If that fails I would buy another opener if you can.

the first thing to try and the easiest is to unplug your opener for about 30 seconds to 1 minute this will reset the board then plug it back in and see what happens

If nothing is breaking the infrared beam, try adjusting the opening and closing force.

Logic board may need to be replaced.
