I'm glad you got off of it b/c of what it does to you--it's very powerful and dangerous.
At least 10 people a day come online and complain about not being able to get pregnant either for a while or at all after Depo. I would guesstimate that most of them seem to take about a year--just check past answers for yourself! Sometimes, there are lucky exceptions. Good luck and God bless!

Hi, have you talked to your doctor about this? Normally if you are planning to conceive, your health provider would encourage you to rest yourself and your womb for at least a year. This is to make sure that your body's hormone regulation will return to normal functioning because this was altered during your depo treatment. This will be the best time because at a years time the depo will be flushed out of your system and it will be safe for child to grow. Since it was a long time you should probably see your doctor to address your concerns. It is always best to ask the professionals especially if your own health and the child you want to carry is on the line. Good luck. I hope you'll have a healthy baby.

Using no safety you'll get pregnant,i used to be at the depo and stopped taking it after which 8wks later i used to be pregnant however it was once deliberate. The best approach of no longer utilising any sort of contraceptive for the reason that of the chemical compounds could be to make use of condoms, cap or the coil no chemical compounds are used with both of those approaches.

depo only makes it difficult to become pregnant because you generally don't get a normal period for some time after you stop the shot; if you've been off it for nearly a year than most likely your periods have returned to normal and you can gauge your fertile times more acurately; if they are not normal yet... then i would see a doctor. but the general overall long term effects to my knowledge is not infertility.

It is only hard to get pregnant if you were on it for years like a really long period of time if you haven't had a shot since march you should be good to try and get pregers but remember it will take a while to concive so if it doesn't happen to you right away relax and keep on trying!

It's going to take a little time to get it out of your system. I'm not sure how much time. It all depends on your body. But you can still get pregnant.
