In Canada and as a police officer I found that telling the landlord is far better than him / her finding out from other sources. In personal lawsuits the landlord can be compensated by police for damages that resulted from the raid

Time to put on your typing shoes and add another clause to the lease. That thing is going to look like a book by the time you get done! I own my own home so no landlord. If I had one I don't think I would call them.

I would. They'll probably contact him anyways. So I think it would be best for you to contact him before they do. Was the raid justified? If so your land lord may want you out of there.

the time I got raided I didn't let my landlord know. did't want to have problems there to. you are going to have enough worries with out that
