George: he goes to Susy's brothel with the other workers on saturday, he keeps lennie with him (who is light headed) for that aim because otherwise lennie would have been an obstacle for him in the already limited work situation at the time of the Great Depression

Lennie: speaks to the black person on the farm (the only one who does so) and he speaks with Curley's wife. When they found out that they had something in common they continued to discuss deeper but Lennie being the simple minded person that he is ended up killing her in one of his fits of panic and this ended their dream (his and George's)

I think the end of the story explains how the aim eventually fails.... if you don't want to read the book at least see the film... it is honestly a good book and, as I remember, it's not too long...and the play is good too.

This sounds like a standard essay question and can be answered in anyway that you personally understand the story... either simply or in a more complicated way if you wish..

I think anyone who actually replies to this with a proper essay answer for you is actually denying you the chance to read a pretty good book and let you think about it for yourself.

Just take a deep breath and give the book a chance.. good luck :)

Depending on thinking it can be either. Mouse when referring to the optical pointing device is a proper noun, there for is a "separate" word to mouse, the rodent, which is a noun. Although when in plural form it kind of crosses over. You can refer to them collectively as mouses (using the proper noun context) or mice (using the noun context) and both are technically correct. It however is still incorrect to refer to a group of mice (animals) as mouses.

You really should do your own homework. That's not like just asking for a helpful hint, your expecting a stranger to write a whole essay for you. How would you even know they weren't talking nonsense? Go read the book and write it yourself
