I clean the counter a thousand times and they wont stay away. My house is clean, no food peices are anywhere! I dont understand!! Help !!!!!

Get a couple of gallons of "HOME DEFENSE" spray. It is already mixed and ready to spray or you can pour it into a garden sprayer.
You spray around outer walls of your house and on ant mounds. I also go around my fence line. Then spray under kitchen sink and base board. Not stinky like most stuff. Only need it about twice a year. Works great and not overly expensive. I get two gallons and I can make it around the house and have some ready for next application about 6 mos. later and for the occasion new ant mound out in the garden or new infestation of white fly.
I rarely see an ant inside. It is as if the bugs won't cross where you sprayed. Winter rain seems to wash it away a bit but then I reapply where ever I see ants and they don't return for a very long time.

We had the red ants in our apartment and I used windex on them until I ran out. It was maddening to have them in EVERYTHING. Pet food really draws them. The best thing I ever found was a product called REVENGE. It is a liquid and you squirt a small amount on a piece of old cereal box or another heavier paper. Then it hardens. Put it under places where your pets or kids won't get to them. In a few days they will have hauled it all off and then your food will be all yours.

You can purchase special ant poison. The ants will take it back to their home and it will kill them all.You can also make a home remedy however I found the one you buy more efficient. Go to your hardware store and they will help you.

u have to use ant repellent or traps. When they die they send a message back to the queen and leave.

check around for any opening or cracks around the counter, if any , seal off with some caulk.
