Don't be lazy. Pick up a pen and get to work. Instead of slacking and getting people on the internet to do your homework for you, you should try it yourself.

I have a better idea. Work on the problems, yourself and see if you can come up with the answers. Write down what you get as an answer. Turn your paper in and when you get it returned to you, see which answers were correct and which were not. Or, if you check the answers in class, be sure and put the correct answer, if you got it wrong. Next, if your teacher doesn't demonstrate why a problem is correct, then raise your hand and ask about it...
You can learn a LOT from mistakes... but you LEARN absolutely NOTHING from having answers handed to you.
C'mon, now. Put some brain sweat into it!

1) take the square root of both sides then divide

2) set the functions equal to 0 then solve for x

3) same as above

4) I'm not familiar with the "square root method" but you can subtract 2 from both sides then take the square root

5(x-2)^2=3
5(x^2-4x+4)=3
5x^2-20x+20=3
5x^2-20x=-17

And I can't remember how you do the rest...that was 2 math classes ago for me...

X-intercepts are easy--just plug in zero for y and figure out what x would be if y was 0.

And I'm in trig now, so I forget what the square root method was...that was algebra for me...
