I took a lie detector test several years ago as part of a job interview. They never told me if it worked or not, but as I recall, the questions were general and I didn't have to lie.
I probably wouldn't do so hot on them though, I'm a terrible liar. You wouldn't even need a lie detector test, you'd see right through me!

yes and yes it worked it told the truth even though I tried to lie to it a few times the guy went back over it and told me where it said untruth and told me to answer it truthfully and then and only then did I passed it!

Yes I did.Back in '88 for a job.They said the results were inconclusive.

no ive never taken the test but have you seen the show Exposed on mtv? its good

Yes I have and No it didn't work, I passed...lied through my teeth, but I passed. It worked for me, but didn't work for them.
Key, is the keep your heartrate the same no matter what your answer is.
