I have searched the website www.democrats.org and can find no actions or agenda for fighting the war on terror. I would really like to know because I don't want to die when the dems take over the white house in 08.

22 minutes into the question, and no democrat can provide me their platform. Jack C, I checked the 'Agenda' link and there is nothing there stating their plan.

Yes I overheard Nancy Palosi and Hillary saying they are going to go to Iran and then Syria and tell them to stop this silliness or you'll have to sleep with both of us!

The Iraqi War was a necessity for economic reasons. Unfortunately President Bush (and our congress) lied to the American people about the reasons we needed to dethrone Hussein. This is the fault of both our main political parties. The reason we were not in and out of Iraq sooner is because of poor decisions made by the administration in the beginning of the assault on Iraq. The Democrats have not had an alternate plan because one does not exist. Some idiots say pull out the troops now. Some idiots say send in more troops. Some idiots say nuke em'. What we need is honesty and fact. We need to continue training Iraqi troops and pulling U.S. forces out of direct contact and conflict with the Iranians as fast as trained Iraqi Army units can take over. Both a build up and a withdraw of troops are bad answers to solving this. Left wing protesters weaken our negotiating abilities world wide. So does the arrogance of Americas right wing and the Bush administration. A true Conservative is one who believes in negotiating the problem and solving it logically. Unfortunately our politicians are divided by party and money and have no logic. War is a necessary evil of Capitalism so if you want to see the U.S. continue to survive as a unified county, you need to get away from extremes and try to elect Honest people to public office, not the religious fanatics of the left and right.

Withdraw to Okinawa (Sen. Murtha)

Reduce troop levels and withdraw(2005)
Set at date for withdrawal.
No, increase troop levels when Bush reduces troop levels(2006)
Set a date for withdrawal.
No, reduce troop levels when Bush increases troop levels (2007)
Set a date for withdrawal.
Regardless of the policy take the opposite track.
Attack any effort towards surveillance of the enemy as an attack on the civil rights of the American people.
Pretend that you are concerned about the lives of our stupid soldiers.
Pretend that these attacks are patriotic.
No victory in Iraq unless it can be viewed as done by Democrats.

Allow no accomplishments to be perceived as a victory by the public. From the start of the war until Democrats take power again victories must be attacked as unimportant or irrelevant all together. Never allow the public to feel good about any success by our military.
Take political power in 2008 and no matter what has happened claim that America is saved by the Democrats.
Deny ability.
Withdraw.
Appease.
Pay them off.

Invite both sides to a Brie & Chablis party and talk out the differences.

When the Iranians tell you that they are not going to build nuclear weapons, you have to believe them.

Just because terrorists supported by Iran and Syria blow up a marketplace full of women and children is no reason to get all mad and look for a way to pay them back.

We don't have a thing to worry about because all of the people who hate us will stay away from the USA if we just leave them alone and pull our troops out of everywhere they're engaged.

They in fact have a plan. Follow the polls, or marching orders from the media. Oppose anything that allows victory in Iraq until 08.

I hear ya! They think we can "work" with al Queda. And that's why al Queda sent them some letters a couple months back to do just that. Their approach to war is the same - appeasement and pacivity =same results : millions of unwarrented deaths!

Well, then move to another country if you have no confidence in the Democrats.

Democrats are sane enough to knwo that the War on Terror cannot be waged as a conventional war. That is not only ineffective, but it produces more converts to jihadism that it kills. The War has to be fought clandestinely, with intelligence and infiltration.

Can you live with that? Or does war, however senseless, have more gut appeal to the likes of you?

you either don't know how to read, or you have very poor research skills.

All of the information is there, in the Agenda link. There is too much to summarize here in a few sentences. If you really want to know, go to the web site.

Thanks for caring.
