People who do good in the world are so often chastised for it. Why? Hung - Burnt -Jailed- Murdered...... What does this say for humanity?

Because a lot of people mistake a nice person as someone who is weak and gullible, which I don't believe is the case much of the time. If you act like an ******, people know they can't just walk all over you. But, if you're nice, people with the wrong intentions think that's a green light for taking advantage, or trying to anyway.

i have to agree wioth loveblue. i am a really nice guy and been betrayed more times than i can count. three by the same person. i am way too trusting of people. i have tried to change that but i always revert back to my basic nature to trust too much.

Because we hope for the best in people no matter how many times it bites us in the @$$.

As for humanity......or humankind......we are screwed. It is all gonna fall apart soon and those left are gonna have one hell of a mess to deal with.

because the people who are genuinely good get there reward when they leave this world, whereas the bad.....they know and they are jealous and are taking their shots now while they have the chance
