Does anyone have any good crafting ideas as to what I can do with the pine needles or small branches from our Christmas tree? It's a Noble Fir, so it smells divine, but I need to take the tree down now. It's still very fresh, and I hate not making use of it's still fresh needles and little branches, and I don't have anything to mulch~

A Noble Fir has short needles, but the basket idea is good for long ones.

Make some sache for your clothes draws or hang them in the closets for that pine scent. You could put them in a bowl so you can smell them until spring.

For my childrens first christmas, I saved small piece of a branch. and placed them in a zip loc bag. Put them in their baby keepsakes.

My son's 22 months and also very very curious! However i'm without doubt hanging a tree up this 12 months. Final yr I bought a man-made tree and purchased ruin-free Christmas embellishes. You will see them at walmart, they are simply fairly nice they look like they are product of glass but they are really like some variety of plastic or some thing. I even had some ornaments from when I was once a kid that have been like little teddy bears. You simply must give you the option to make your tree little one pleasant. So many prospects. Still looks fairly satisfactory and if she does happen to get a hold of one she is not going to damage herself! And consistently make certain you don't put tinsel on your tree, it can be quite unsafe for choking. Different then that I think that possibly the little one gate could be an outstanding proposal. Last year I moved my dwelling room around in order that I would block the tree in a nook with our couch and chair unless Christmas morning. Some thing you decide i am hoping it works for you!

I don't know if Noble Fir needles are long enough for this project, but you can try.The instructions are for a woven coil basket.

You can take a glass bowl, you can put colourful sand in it, then the pine needles and on top of them aromatic candles...nice!
