Look for something comparable to your computer on ebay, and see how much it is going for. Even better, look at the closed auctions to see what they've sold for in the past.

You may be able to find a book describing computer values, but it will most likely be unreliable. The market for used computers will have changed between the time of final revision of the book, the printing time, the amount of time it spent on the shelf, and "right now."

I don't think there is a blue book available. Last week I went to Craigs List online and got comparable prices for a used computer that I was looking at.

Go to ebay, click on advanced search

Click the box for "show completed auctions" and then search for your type computer.

You will get a list of what that model is selling for used.
