You're not running out of time, and never let anyone tell you that you are. My dermatologist started medical school at 36, after teaching high school English for eight years.
If you like to write, though, might I suggest a career in journalism? It gives you the opportunity to write for a living, which in turn gives you valuable experience if you decide to pursue a career in creative writing.

April, how old are you? I ask this because you may have a lot more time to consider your life's profession.
If you are still in middle school or even high school, you could intern or volunteer at various agencies to see if the jobs/professions you list are what you expect.
You may be able to visit colleges or universities that have course in film making, dance and fashion design. Likewise for journalism. I don't know about snowboarding. That takes time and money for training.
I also suggest speaking to people in these professions. Find out what they like and don't like about their jobs. Maybe you can "shadow" some of these people for a week or so. You can see the 'ins and outs' of the jobs and find out what really is done.
Keep looking and trying. It's never too late.

Don't let it worry you too much. I'm grown up and I'm still not sure what I want to do in life. I'm a writer, and I've gotten quite far with that, but it's not something you can really rely on to pay the bills. I think it's best to keep your options open. So that way, you can switch to something else if something doesn't go as planned or it wasn't as expected. Hopefully this will be of some use.

Write and direct a song and dance screenplay starring yourself about a person who designs fashions for snowboarders.

Time never runs out. Just go to college and get your basics out of the way and eventually it will come to you. Continue on doing your favorite things and enjoy life. Who says that you have to make a decision right now? No one. Don't be so hard on yourself. Good luck!

let whatever makes you happiest be your guide, love your path whatever path you choose, love it and be happy with it. Everything else will follow that happiness without effort your life will fall in place. Our purpose in life is to love and be loved, so love whatever you choose and that path will be lit. Your focus should come straight from the passion in your heart, let your logical mind step aside, take a deep breath and let your heart be your guide.

There is no such thing as time is running out. It is a accepted concept that we will need to reinvent ourselves several times over our lifetime. So do what ever holds your interest.

I don't know what I want to be when I grow up, either, and I'm 34! Maybe I just won't grow up . . .
