Use a Reverse Phone Directory Look-Up Service. Just put "REVERSE PHONE Directory" into your search engine, click on one of the free sites, and enter the phone number in it.

An 877 number is like an 800 number. It is probably a business or a collection agency. When I get them on my caller ID, I call them from my cell phone and get the name of the company. If the receptionist isn't clear, I start asking questions until I find out who was calling.
