What is a good idea for a story about an eggs part in the reproduction process?

I have to write a creative story about how it leaves the ovary and travels down the fallopian tube and how after 48 hours, if it meets no sperm, it breaks down and is emptied out by way of menstruation... My teacher said we could make it a superhero or maybe the guide on a cruise line, but I really dont like those ideas. This is a really ridiculous project, but unfortunately I have to do it and I have no idea where to start. Thanks for your imput :)

There is a fairy princess named Egovia. She lives in the very small village of Ovaria. There were thousands of fairy princesses who lived in this very small place waiting for the day when it was their turn to travel down the long winding road of Fallopia Boulevard to hopefully meet up with a handsome Spermian from the nearby town of Ejacula de Hombre. One day Egovia woke up and she had become uncomfortably swollen and cramped in her small place. She notice all of the other fairy princesses were pushing her to the outer edge of her village. She new at this point, like so many fairy princesses before had known, the Higher Woman had sent out the Find Sir Handsome signal. This signal from the Higher Woman is shortly follwed by the Leave Here signal. So Egovia cramped in her small place travels to the outer edge of Ovaria and waits. The Leave Here signal comes and as quickly as the signal is heard she forced out of the front gate on to Fallopia Boulevard. She has only heard rumors of where her travels will lead her. The road is narrow and lined with trees. These trees are not like any she has seen before. They are long and skinny. When they brush against her they tickle a little. She know there is a possibility of meeting her handsome Spermian and traveling to the far off place of Uteria and settling down and making a family for the Higher Woman, but her fate is unclear. So she waits, and waits, and waits. For two moons and two suns she waits. She notices she is become less swollen and knows if her handsome Spermian does not appear soon she will wither away. And so she does. The End.
