I would start out with pencil, although it's not as precise as liquid eyeliner. It takes some practice. Start from the inside and move out. Just follow the lashline. Stay as close as possible to the lashline. When learning to use liquid, start out by just tracing it over the pencil as practice. My favorites: Pencil - Cover girl. Liquid: Almay. (If you do decide to use liquid, you need a firm brush to apply it with, the more flimsy, the more difficult it will be to apply - Almay has a great brush!)

⥠I would suggest that you use a pencil. Once you get the hang of the pencil then you should use liquid. What you do it sharpen your pencil and then draw a straight line on your eyelids. Don't put too much on because then you will look like a raccoon

To keep it straight on the top... liquid works great .. practice makes perfect... it will remain straight for you after a while.
For the bottom use a pencil..
Now, on the bottom of your eye "dot" with eyeliner pencil on then smudge towards the outer corner of the eye
If you don't have a smudger.. use your little finger..
Hope This Helps
GOOD LUCK

liquid sucks. pencils are ok. but i use like a crayon pencil from Covergirl. Just make sure have right above ur eyelash line. start from the inner corner of your eye and you may want to go slow and just pretend there is an imaginary line that u need to stay inside of. make it as thin as you can, and if u want it darker or thicker, just go back on the line you made and try to stay on it again. for the bottom part of your eye, do the same thing, but maybe not as dark or thick as the top...GOOD LUCK!
i hope i helped a little.

I never use liquid, I use pencil and you just need to practice until you get a perfect liner looks. Take the pencil ensure is not too pointy, draw the lower lid softly (not inside your eyes, it the outer part) and same with the upper lid. By practicing you can become an expert!

Use pencil, a light touch, then continue to add slowly, building it up. Dont go for one thick line, it looks terrible. Liquid eyeliner looks good, but only with experience, and good quality makeup

When you put eye liner on ALWAYS Blend it in!
And when you put it on the bottom (they always say to put it on the inside of your eyes but DON"T it always winds up in your eyes (ouch!) and washes off as soon as moisture hits it)
And the eye liner depends on if your gonna be around water. The liquid runs very easily and just rubs off and it's hard to blend in! The pencil is easier to apply and stays on longer!
And don't apply it really dark just slightly rub it on and if you get it too dark you can get a shadow applicator that hasn't been used and rub some off! That easy!

eye pencil is more easy to put on, but if u want eyeliner, then choose eyeliner with short brush.
