Pretty woman ..I love how a person is down on their luck gets a chance to see the other side of life and then goes on to live it.

I like movies that mess with your head and/or make you think. As a result, my favorite movies are (in no particular order):

Fight Club, The Fountain, The Matrix (just the first one!), and, more recently, Apocalypto (go see this movie while it's still in theater! It is more than worth it!)

The Shawshank Redemption. I can bet if someone does not have a hangover for atleast a day after watching the movie. It is a nice example of inching towards your goal every moment.
