The reason I want to buy one on apple is that they have a red one online and Wal-Mart doesn't.

Go with apple.com or find an apple store near you. That way, if something is wrong, you can go right to the source instead of having to go into Wal-Mart.
Sheesh! I just HATE Wal-Mart! ;-)

it doesnt really matter...but if you buy one from apple, they can engrave your name on it, which i think is pretty cool. Im not sure if you have to pay for shipping though. Either way, the warranty and everythngs the same. With wal mart, you'll be able to get it quicker....i like the red ones like you said. If you really want the red one, its worth the wait!! the ipods r awesome!

I think that you should buy your ipod from Wal- mart. They will have good and all the original stuff. The ipods on the internet are also safe but not recommendable. I would wait for the red one and then buy it from wal- mart. Internet is also a good choice but i would not trust it.

i had a friend buy one from k-mart and it broke. k-mart gave him a hard time about it, and no one was willing to replace it. he ended up just buying another one.
i personally would either go to a apple store, or apple.com. they have great customer support if you purchase from them. also if you order from apple.com you can get free engraving.

Look it is better to just by one in a store because someone goes wrong with it you can return it, and you do not have to worry about if you don't ger he ipod, or when you return it there is a question if they will receive it back?

i wouldn't support walmart, the leading gun producer in the USA, but their iPods will be about $20 cheaper then buying them direct from the manufacturer unless you want the red one. to get that one cheap, buy it through
joinred.com.

Apple all the way. If you get it new you can have it engraved for free. And you can get refurbished ones online for alot cheaper.
