I'm sure you would just love to be insulted about who you are by some random people on forums, wouldn't you? Maybe you should consider other people's thoughts and feelings before you post ignorance and flame-attempts like this. If you think we're the one's who're less than human, you're sadly mistaken and I feel very sorry for you.

Shemales is a porn name, and an uncomplementary one.
If you mean male to female, preop, transsexual, then you'll find the fantasy of porn rarely translates. Few, except sex workers, would want to be with someone until complete transition. Certainly not in a situation where their male equipment is being used - since it reminds them they are not physically what their mind tells them they are.
I date a female to male transsexual, during transition and beyond.
After starting hormone replacement therapy, he didn't like being around me, naked, because he was a reminder that his body wasn't male yet. It was a little better after the mastectomy, but still had lots of problems with it.
As a pansexual male, I wouldn't have any trouble with a female looking person and male genitalia, it's just not likely to be something fitting reality.

i met a drag queen(uncertain of any ops done or not)
she is drop dead gorgeous, she is more of a woman
than ill ever get, more of a man than ill ever be.
but she is truly amazing and beautiful, and easy to talk to.
and yes when she talks to me she makes me blush.
this is the first drag queen i have ever sat down with
and had a conversation with and she is really sweet.
i just got back into the social scene.
so this is all new to me, im getting educated.
i love women period, but damn she had me
questioning myself cause damn if i would have
been man enough for her i would have asked her out
but im not getting anything changed about me.
daggon she gives the femme lesbians an
straight women to shame.

it takes a stong man to stand up and tell the world that he rejects the societial roles of men and being masculine. it also takes a strong man to accept that they feel more comfortable living their life and presenting themself to the world in a woman gender role.
i have tons of respect for these people. i know the feelings they go thru and i hope the day comes where i can feel totally comfortable presenting myself as a woman too!
and yes, shemale is a degrading name.. go with transgenderist.
