what do you mean by corrupt?
Do you mean are politicians influenced by money? of course
Do you mean are they all liars? Well, they must have opposing views to differentiate themselves. One claims A, the other anti A. And of course they make mistakes. Of course if their party claims something they support it and choose not to know truth.
Do they intentionally lie? Don't we all in certain situations?
Are all politicians involved in scandals? yeah. blame it on them if you want, but we own some of that too. we get excited to hear scandals. News reporters get excited making us excited.
Do I expect more of a president that a womenizer? A bold face Liar? A do nothing person? Someone who is involved in scandal after scandal. Of course.

Yes - power corrupts.
Corruption knows no political party - it is a fact of life that humans aren't prefect. Any person with unchecked power over tons of money will be tempted- if you answer to that temptation you are corrupt.
Example - taking money for your own project while ignoring someone else's need.

Maybe not on all levels, but for the most part yes. You have congressmen accepting campaign contributions from lobbyists for corporations. Who do you think these congressmen will have in there best interest. Remember Rome began to crumble from the political corruption.

Government officials have FORGOTTEN or just don't give a D*mn that they were elected by the people to represent the citizens interests not their financial agendas or that of their business affiliations.
They forget we the people are their EMPLOYERS!
If I find out an employee is corrupt and using the job I gave them to line their pockets.....YOUR FIRED ....to quote.....The Donald.

All governments are corrupt to some extent... Its just the US gov just jumped in a level of corruption in the last 12 years so much that its mind blowing. The american population is in total shock we are like deer stuck in the middle of the road with blazing lights coming right to us.

For the most part I would have to say no.However there is not a government on this planet that does not have some corruption.After all,government officials are human too,and like the rest of the population,some are bad people.
