I have recently had bad cramps. Last night was the worst! I was hurting badly in both arms and legs, i have a body pillow and had lots of other pillows. Sometimes I thought some of them made it worse. Any tips for things I can do to ease the pain at night, so i can actually sleep?

My doctor told me to eat more calcium. Drink a glass of milk, or eat yogurt. I have been eating about a cup of yogurt everyday since and have not had these problems. Also I eat 1 banana a day that helps too. Good Luck and just remember that it will go away.

Your body might need potassium. Whenever your body calls out like the it means there is a deficiency. Eat bananas. I'm not big on vitamins but consult your doctor and see what he recommends. Good luck.

leg (and arm) cramps are a sign of either too much salt in your diet or not enough potassium. Try eating a banana every day and cutting your salt intake. Good luck! I battled with that, too and they can be awful.

Are you taking in enough water? Cramps are normally a symptom of dehydration. If that doesnt work you might give yoga a trial run.

Drink lots of water!! Go for a walk once a day, stretch your muscles before you go to bed, try a hot bath before bed to relax the muscles, and avoid standing for long periods of time.

It is a lack of potassium in your body - eat bananas and other potassium rich foods.
