Me and my friend had a talked about it, "why people hate on singers"?. I said to her because they don't fit there type of category. Like he or she doesn't sing the way you want them to sing.... so please, detail what do you look for in a singer?

I say that I like a singer that has a good voice or song thats catchy. Also someone that doesnt dress to slutty or thuggy lol. I like it when they have good dance moves and are somewhat respectable. I dont really like it when they have so many cuss words in their song. Because my little sister always likes to habg out with me and I let her but when I want to listen to music she cant be around. Thats what I want and look for.

I look for someone that can actually sing well and doesn't scream, but sing. Also, someone who has a lot of good stage presence. Not necessarily dancing, but just a good fun attitude on stage.

vocal range, and the songs themselves....Mariah Carey is still one of my fav. singers, and has been for like 15 years....and she is still a great vocalist, regardless of whatever else she's done.
As long as they have good songs, and a voice that can pull them off beautifully, then it's all good.

um... well... I like a good voice, think Teddy Geiger... and if they can hit really high notes that actually go with the song. Also they have to have their own... "thing"... you know, that characteristic that only they have. Uniqueness. Yah.

they have to have a good voice and have a lot of energy.they also need to be able to not care what people think of them.
