and no, you cannot send money as a package. the best way to give money to a friend is to have them buy a worm from the bait shack and put it in their YS at the price that is the same as the amount of money you want to give them and then you can buy it from them.

No, you can't send money. It is true that you could use a worm trick, but instead send a present. That is more thoughtful than money.
If you are the one wanting the money, instead sell through a yard sale and ask your friend to buy something. Or play lots of games.
