i believe every month mascara needs to be thrown away, if not and still using it can it be harmful to eyes? thanks.

There is a lot of harmful bacteria that can live in your eyelashes. I remember seeing a video in high school biology that showed microscopic worms that live in everyone's eye lashes, regardless if you use mascara or not. But, you should throw mascara out every month and get a new tube as you don't want to keep using the same "food" for these worms. And don't EVER share the same mascara tube with someone else. Gross, isn't it?

nope. Mascara does not need to be thrown out every month unless someone that uses it had an eye infection, then you would have to throw it out right away. Just use mascara until it runs out!
tip- dont pump your mascara, it dries it out
tip-if your mascara gets really dry, run it under hot water for 5 minutes.

generally you shouldnt use the same mascara for more than 3 months, also some mascaras can be harmful b/c ppl can be allergic to them

Don't Share with anyone you will end up with a Stye and those hurt!, you should be able to keep mascara longer than a month. I keep it until it gets too clumpy

I think brand new mascara can be harmful to eyes. Our eyes are extremely sensitive and anything that can mistakenly iserted is dangerous!

I usually keep mine for about 90 days before I throw it out. I have never had a problem doing it this way.

well- if u don't wash of the mascara- its 100% proven that ur eyelashes will break or fall out!!
