the superman returns theme song sounds a WHOLE lot like the theme to starwars..anyone else notice this? my dad says the *song* for startwars came from superman..anyone care to enlighten me =o

The song for Star Wars did not come from Superman. Star Wars came out first (1977 vs. 1978). The reason they sound similar is because they were composed by the same man, John Williams.

John Williams composed BOTH the theme to Star Wars and to Superman: The Movie (Which is the basis of the Superman Returns theme. They are not exactly the same, there are a few slight differences, but they are VERY close)
