I had a friend in college who had an ovary removed, so she was only "supposed" to be fertile every other month. Well, she got pregnant on accident! So just keep trying, and good luck!

Use ovulation test kits and consider getting on a mild fertility medication to help your ovaries. And, as hard as this advice is to give or take, try to be patient. Normally, a woman only releases an egg from one ovary per month, so you're just maybe stuck taking a month off when the missing ovary would've worked?

I had a friend that had only one ovary too. The doctor was able to tell her what month that ovary was going to release an egg. Then, she was able to keep track of which month she could get pregnant, and then the following month she wouldn't, then the next month she might get pregnant again. Understand?

That way you won't stress every single month trying to conceive. You will know it's every other month.

Chart your cycles (practice NFP). That way, you'll know when you are ovulating. It's free and it introduces no foreign chemicals to your body.
