u hav 2 hav GC controllers, the games werent designed for use with the wii remote. Obviously because the wii wasn't invented when mario duoble dash came out. hope this helps :)

gotta have the GC remotes. The Wii remotes are used only for the old skill games u buy for it and the Wii games. No GC games can be used with the Wii remote so far anyways.
