I know why LT said he was mad at one of the Patriots players, but I'm a fan of both teams. But I'd like to see the actual dance. I've seen LT getting angry and fussy but I have yet to actually see the dance. I was just wondering if its been blown outta proportion or not. I understand if they were dancing on the Chargers logo, but there is a chance that they didn't mean it in that way. And besides I think that Its just as classless to have a dance that you're known for anyway, makes you no better than T.O. I like both teams, but I'm wondering if anyone actually saw footage of the dance, and if you did where I'd like to see it, before I make any judgements

No, I didn´t see it and I don't have to see it!
LT acted like a spoiled, whining baby. I can't even imagine a REAL NFL player from 20-30 years ago lacking the self-respect and self discipline that they would cry and snivel openly in front of the national media like he did!
Real MEN and real football players do their talking ON the field. PERIOD! That has been a rule of conduct in the NFL since the beginning of time. if you don't want the enemy coming into YOUR house and killing your dog, raping your women and selling your children into slavery, then you DEFEAT them on the field of battle, you don't cry and snivel in front of the cameras....)

A few of the Patriots players were merely celebrating their spectacular comeback victory, and just happen to be standing on the Chargers logo. Its hard to believe that if S.D. had won that game that they wouldn't have done a few dances of their own. LT just let his emotions get the best of him, he should have been pissed off at his own head coach for not giving him the ball more and keeping the clock rolling. Who wouldn't want to see someone make fun of Merriman's spastic steroid dance? When you do a dance called 'Lights out' (that btw looks like a squirrel getting electricuted) on the football field your asking for it .
I think the funniest thing about the game was that the Chargers fans cheered after Kaeding missed his field goal and they thought they were going to get the ball back because NE had an excessive celebration penalty after the play was over. Did anyone else notice that? LOL!
LT lost my respect by first off saying that he is 'Classy' after he just had a emotional breakdown and showed poor sportmanship in front of millions of fans. Then he has the nerve to say that the Patriots players are 'classless' and 'maybe they got that from their coach'?. LT you may have been classy in the past, but now people may have to rethink that now. Plus if your classy do you really have to say that you are in front of the media???

I think any players that just won a really close battle like that to advance to the AFC championship game, would be celebrating- they wouldn't be paying attention to where on the field they were standing, it's just human nature- spontaneous celebration. Same as when the Cubs made the playoffs, or when Michael Jordan hit his jumper for the 3-peat.
Obviously LT was upset and disappointed after the way the Chargers lost that game with bad turnovers and a REALLY dumb penalty. Against the Pats it usually comes down to who makes the fewest mistakes, and the Chargers gave this one away, for sure... I think LT was disgusted with the outcome as much as the specific action.
Anyway it's a rematch of the Pats-Colts next week. Can Peyton finally get it done, or will it the Brady Bunch one more time?

Not the best view but it does show the Patriots coming on to the field to celebrate. There were also some closer camera angles on ESPN of the Merriman "dance" (those were not done in the middle of the field but on the sideline). After the field goal was missed, Colvin did a choke sign to the Chargers sideline (shown on the NFL network reply of the game).

I didnt see it. I don't doubt something set LT off..he's pretty laid back, even under circumstances like losing the game. I'm a Pats fan, but also an LT fan. I thought it was interesting though that it was an unnamed Pats player...I wonder who it was? It's not cool for either side to taunt like that. Belichick will probably be tearing into whomever pulled the stunt.

In either case it's a form of taunting and is classless. It being at their home field and the other team doing it is a form of retribution or revenge for that taunting and is also unacceptable in my opinion. LT was understandably upset but was also emotionally upset because of the loss and this just fueled the anger. All players should stop these childish actions. Sportsmanship is still important in sports and players and fans alike need to show more of it.

After L.T attitude last night? Im not giving any luck to them , they will play very bad next year and all kinds of problem and injuries will be in that team until L.T knows how to accept defeat in a nice way.
Where did he come from a gangster in the street? that's his attitude.

it wasn't the dance or were they did it, LT is just young and got really frustrated, and let it out, in 5 years he porb wouldn't have done or said a thing, maturing more as not only a player but a person...cuz i'm sure he would have done something simalir if the tables were turned
