Hello,
It's called "Iberostar"....ok,let's start.the only one to the right is (if u face the ocean) "Hotel Sandos" (till June 2006 it was named "Hotel Gala Resort"...nice place). To the left is the "Riu Yucatan"(a nice place even it is the oldest of all the Riu's here)followed by the "Riu Palace Mexico"(absolutely outstanding),"Wyndham Viva Maya"(nothing fancy but very good for the dollar..always approx.60% occupancy Italians),"Riu Playacar"(like all the other Riu's nice but this one has no charm what so ever),"Occidental Royal Hideaway"(upscale place...very fancy and expensive),"Occidental Allegro Playacar"(an absolute no,no),"Wyndham Viva Azteca"(smaller than the Viva Maya with the same standard),"Riu Palace Riviera Maya"(Suites only but not as classy as the other Riu Palace) and "Reef Club"(old place in bad shape with bad food...a no,no) at the end. There are three more hotels in Playacar Phase II which are not beachfront:"Riu Lupita","Riu Tequila" and "Hacienda Royal".
Greetings from Playa,
