The mail should run today right? Because today is Martin Luther King Day! I am waiting for something important in the mail, please only answer if you know what your talking about!

No there is no mail delivery today ,today is a National Holiday..I work for the post office.

The mail will not run today since it is a holiday...no type of government agencies will be open such as the post office, city hall, schools, or banks (they tend to observe the same holidays as government offices even though they are not part of the state or federal government agencies). There should be trash pickup today since most of the cities contract that out to privately owned businesses.

There is no mail because of the holiday, but there was trash pick-up. I found that out AFTER the trash came and mine wasn't out.

I can't speak for your town, but in Wenatchee, WA it's not running.
