Don't take all these things as "signs". I think that because you are so worried you are more aware of talk about pregnancy around you. Since it is on your mind so much you are dreaming about it also. Even though tender breasts and frequent urination are associated with pregnancy they wouldn't start this early. If your period is a week away you probably weren't ovulating at the time you had sex which would decrease the chance that you are pregnant.
Now, as an older and perhaps wiser person, I need to say this: Sex isn't intended to bring about this kind of response! Sex should be something you enjoy, not fret about. Is it worth it to you to go through this every month? When you continually associate sex with fret and worry it becomes harder to enjoy it when you're married and don't have to worry about becoming pregnant. Consider whether you are ready for this, and if you really think you are, are you using the right form of birth control?

You have two choices right now:
Wait until you are supposed to get your period, if you don't get it, take a pregnancy test.
Take a pregnancy test now, but be aware that it may be too early for an accurate result. Look on the box for guidelines for use.
Be sure to talk to your boyfriend and discuss what the both of you want to do if you are pregnant. Some teen pregnancies work out well, but the majority don't. Be sure to fully think and talk about your lives before making any decision. Abortion and adoption (as well as keeping the baby) are possibilities, but no matter what you choose, it will affect you for the rest of your life.
Good luck.

The dreams are your subconcious. You are constantly thinking that you are pregnant and it is entering your dreams. The sore breasts and constant urination are most likely symtoms of PMS since you are due to start in about a week. The constant urination may be due to the water retention that most women experience during PMS. Of course it could possibly be a urinary tract infection, which symtoms include frequent urination, from having sex. Take a deep breath and grab your tampons, I am sure that you will start soon. After two weeks of your first missed period you can purchase a home pregnancy test or go to Planned Parenthood for one. I recommend First Response they have recently started using a new test that can detect pregnancy earlier than most home pregnancy tests. Good Luck! Please keep in mind that unless you are ready for the responsibilities of having a baby it is best to not have sex at all.

Somewhere in the back of your mind you must be very worried about being pregnant and the worried feeling is makeing you think you are pregnant. I don't think you are pregnant. I think the same thing is happening to me. I had unprotected sex with _______ and I started thinking I was pregnant, I was worried and I was scared if I was someone would find out. Now I am getting over the fact that I thought I was pregnant, I still have the signs, or at least that is what my sister thinks. She got me really thinking it. You most likely are not, but do a test just to make sure and get it off your mind. PS I m 17 too

I am guessing this was the first time for you. I think you might be feeling guilty. I would abstain until I am older more mature. I know that there is a lot of pressure if you are not doing it there is something wrong with you. That is very very wrong. I believe you r freaking out, when you are stressed out your period sometimes take longer to come. I would relax, take a pregnancy test and wait. Please take some advice from someone who has been there. Sex is a very intimate and beautiful when you r with the right person. Guys who expect you to put out run if a guy really cares about you he will wait.

You love the guy right? You are putting your buissness out there because you are scared and looking for answers. Stupid advise number 1:talk to your parents. uh hello if she could she would have instead of going on this thing. Okay I'm 17 too. and I'm on the pill and **** happend and I thought I was pregnant too..like super recently so I know how it feels. I've been peeing like a horse (do horses pee alot?) too and EVERYONE is talking about teen pregnancy especially my parents. I know how it is to be freaking out about this. if you are supposed to get you're period in a week then wait until the day before you're missed period and take an early responce test. if you can go to a clinic and take a test there too, usually they are free. As stupid as it sounds I've drank oregano tea to help my period come. it taste like **** but me and my friends have done it and my mom has given it to me before too (usually when I'm spotting and I just want to get my period over with) just relax a little. you used a condom they're pretty safe. Take care.

Ok, here's what you do.
Wait until your period is supposed to come. If it doesn't come when it's supposed to, get $10 from your boyfriend, go to the nearest grocery store, and buy a pregnancy test. Go home and pee on the stick. Or, if you need to know right then, take it to the grocery store's bathroom and pee on the stick. Then, as if by magic, you will have your answer.
There is nothing else we can tell you until you have taken this test. We don't know if you are pregnant. If you could tell you were pregnant just by the symptoms and the dreams, we wouldn't need pregnancy tests, would we?

I think at this stage you are just worrying unnecessarily. You took precautions so I'm sure everything is fine. Dont' think about it at all and your period will arrive as normal I'm sure. At the moment my boobs are killing me, I feel I have the mammory glands of a pregnant elephant, and I know I'm not pregnant, some months it just happens like that.
If your period hasn't started in 2 weeks, then consider the possibility again, but before that time don't give it a thought.

I thought the same thing when I was 17. Finally, I talked to my mom and we went to the Dr. for a test. Thankfully, it was negative. The Dr. told me that the stressing I was doing over it was causing my period to be late. Don't get me wrong - I'm not saying you're not pregnant. I'm just saying, calm down and go buy a pregnancy test. Try not to stress over it. If you are, you are - deal with it then. If you're not - contratulations - you just learned a very valuable lesson. Be more careful next time.

I think you may be jumping the gun a little. Don't worry about something until it actually happens. Maybe all the "pregnancy related" subject matter you have encountered is a fluke or coinsidence. If it's something you are paranoid about you're going to feel that it's all around you and you're going to be more aware of the topic. Your boobs might hurt because you should be PMSing right now if you get your period in a week. You might want to buy an early pregnancy test and see what happens.
