I want to buy one of those head ornaments Drs have with the area's named/labelled? I don't know what they are actually called or where I can buy them? Can anyone help?
I want one as I am studying Indian Head Massage and I think it will be useful/good to have in my treatment room!
Thanks in advance!

They are called phrenology busts and were used for the now absurd practise of reading the bumps on people's heads. You sometimes find them in antique shops but they did have them on www.spiral.org at one time.

i know that the head with all of the areas for personality/characteristics marked on it is called a phrenology head but this is the study of the bumps on a persons head not the marking of the occipital bone, parietal bone, etc etc.

They used to sell them in the Gadget Shop, or try any of the gadgety shops online. You can also get them from chinese remedy shops I think or tarot/palm reading /spiritual shops.
