doubtful as an erection is blood rushing to the penis. The blood would retract, and the penis would go down. Now, there's rigormortis which is stiffing of the body, so he might firm up, but as far as having a "useable erection for sexual purposes" -- highly unlikely.

It will stay up for about an hour or two, until the blood completely stops flowing throughout the body

I'm not sure but I think that in time it will go down because they take the blood out the body anyway.
