Agreed, Pujols should've win the MVP, Howard should have finished second. If Alfonso posted a higher average, he might have had a chance. Pujols played in a lot less games than Howard, and put up better stats in my opinion. Howard still should have won the Silver Slugger, Hank Aaron Award, and any other first base or overall batting award (he was a monster in 2006)

I believe hes tied the record for finishing 2nd in the voting,4 times already and hes only been in the league 6 years,and thats one MVP trophy too.This guy is gonna go down as one of the best to ever put on a uniform.

I would take a WS championship over MVP any day. Cards fans need to quit crying about Pujols and being MVP. Enjoy that trophy!

Actually Jose Reyes should have won the MVP.
Look at the stats and he may not have the power numbers, but his overall role on that team is completely indispensible.
