Eat less fatty rich foods. Eat more walnuts and almonds, use olive oil more often. Use garlic in foods. eat more fiber rich foods. If you want to use supplements try essential fatty acids, co-enzyme 10, garlic, and fiber.

Exercise can help as well. Cereals like Cheerios and oatmeal can help to lower cholesterol. Try these measures before going on a cholesterol med because there are known dangers with these meds, so only use as the last resort.

Lay off the fatty things like burger and fries. Eat some stuff that lowers it like lentils. Lentil soup is great and easy to make. Go to allrecipes.com.

Lifestyle changes (better diet, more exercise), or drugs. Lipitor works quite well, I've heard.

You ever think about talking to one of them new-fangled Doctor things? I hear they're quite good for answering questions like this.
