Please stop snooping around your mother's cabinet. I understand you're curious about these things, but the best thing to do is seek advice from her rather than risk harming yourself. I don't understand why the pantyliner would be causing you discomfort unless it hasn't been stuck properly and is riding up there. Don't wear any more until you speak with your mom and have her teach you how to wear them correctly.

you're just getting used to it.

EDIT:

Okay, first of all, Gaynell is not right about the dangers of discharge or whatever. It's perfectly normal to have discharge before you get your period. I would suggest talking to your mom about this, rather than getting information from strangers on the internet. Not to be rude, but it's true, your mom could really help you out a lot more than anyone else.

I am more concerned about why you have a discharge. That really needed to be addressed. A pad if place on the underwear correct will be comfortable. Take plastic tab off and adhere the pad to your underwear, also you need to be wearing standard underpants. Please talk to someone about this discharge it is not safe. It is not always about a sexual encounter, It could be an infection because you were on an antibiotic
