My little cousin is sooooo scared of aliens, she was up crying all night, she asked me about area 51.
I am getting a little freaked out myself. Is there really aliens??
I thought that they only found a weather balloon...

There are no space aliens on Earth. If aliens ever did come here, it would be all over the news - there's no way people would be able to keep it secret for any length of time. Many scientists have made it their life's work to find proof that there are intelligent civilizations out there somewhere - if they ever do find evidence of aliens, they won't keep it a secret!
So far, scientists have not found any evidence at all that there are intelligent civilizations out there. We are optimistic that we will find them some day, though. But space is SOOOOO big, that even if there is a civilization out there, it would take centuries to travel there (and likewise it would take them centuries to travel here). Space travel is really, really hard! Not like on Star Trek or Star Wars. If there are aliens out there, the first evidence we will have is radio communication - they will send us a signal. Even that signal, traveling at the speed of light, will take centuries to get here, and our reply will take centuries to get back to them.
Even if aliens are so technically advanced that they have figured out how to travel across the galaxy in an instant like on Star Trek, then why would they come to hurt us on our puny little planet? We would have no technology that they would want, and any resources on Earth they might want they could get elsewhere in our Solar System. Water? Go to Europa, or any of the billions of comets in the Kuiper Belt and the Oort Cloud. Iron? Mine the asteroid belt.

I live in Nevada and know all about Area 51. My grandfather was a truck driver and had to deliver goods to Area 51 test site, to this day he will not speak of what he saw and experienced there. He made it quite clear to the whole family not to ask questions. My husband and I are actually planning a drive to the extraterrestrial highway state route 375 about 140 miles north of las vegas, nevada. There is a tiny town of Rachel, Nevada on the route and it's full of all kinds of UFO information. I can't wait to sit out under the stars on the route and wait for something to fly overhead. Aliens are very real. I can't believe people would be ignorant to that fact, we aren't the only ones that exist in this universe.

Don't fall for the wild imaginations of the conspiracy theorists, who make up all kinds of wild ideas but have no evidence of any kind to back them up.
No "aliens" have ever visited the earth, none have every crashed their ship, and there are no aliens or alien artifacts at Area 51 or anywhere else. Area 51 is a high-security facility because that's where they tested the stealth bomber, stealth fighter, and other entirely human inventions.

Area 51 is just a government research facility, operated extensively by the Air Force. Actually, due to all the media speculation and references in pop culture, most of the research activity has been rumored to have left A51 and moved to another less known facility in the region.
As far as Aliens go -- let's be honest with ourselves. If anyone had the technology to travel to Earth and observe us, do you think they would want ANYTHING to do with a planet where some of the inhabitants kill each other with car bombs, fly planes into Sky Scrapers, and care more about our Playstation 3 than we do about World News ?
I doubt it.

You live close to the area 51 test site. There are no aliens. If God created aliens, he would have told us. We are the only being on earth and no other extra terrestrial elsewhere. Except angels in the heavens.

It's impossible to say for sure, but if you want to comfort him tell him that it was a weather balloon (which is likely), and tell him that they use it mainly to test secret aircraft like the F-117, the SR-71 and the U-2 (which is true).

No such thing as space aliens. There are aliens at area 51, but they are the cleaning crew.

I myself do believe that Aliens have visited this Earth for thousands and millions of years...If you don't believe in Aliens from other Space then how do you explain "crop circles" and the moving of the stones to "Stonehenge" England...Drawings on ancient caves all over the world dating back thousands of years that depict Alien figures and space craft...I base my belief on facts that I just mentioned..I've never seen an Alien space craft but know plenty of people who think they have spotted them at night in the sky, especially down in the Panhandle in Florida over Navarre Beach...It's ok not to believe...
I believe they are hiding something from us in Area51...it is soo top secret to the government that they are willing to "shoot to kill you" if you trespass into that Area51 run by the government..I'm not sure what they are hiding in that zone but they for sure don't want us to know...I know they test military aircraft and missles over there too...
I have heard several stories about an Alien spacecraft that crashed over there...there is also suppose to be a dead Alien body over there too...Oh well..time will tell... but I'll probably never know what's back there in my LifeTime...

Even if there were, there would be such a minute group of people who knew anything. You just got to look at it as a possibility but in our lifetime, probably a defintite no to aliens.

No it's just a big bunch of crap. Some people are so paranoid, they have to spend their waking hours figuring out the way the government is lying to them or trying to screw them. Someday perhaps they'll get a life.
