As long as you are respectful and don't resort to name calling, I don't see anything wrong with thought provoking questions.

Too many times liberals and conservatives resort to calling each other names to the point that they can not have a real intellectual discussion.

I have liberal friends, conservative friends, and moderate friends, and I have great discussions with all of them without ever calling them names.

I've met liberals and conservatives who are honest, decent people who just happen to have a different view on life, but that's okay because none of us are God, and none of us has a monopoly on the truth.

Without knowing the reason you asked this question, I can't get anymore specific than that.

By the way, I would probably be classified as a moderate liberal, and I think all the time. It's fun and stimulating.

Not so much thinking but feeling. It hurts me deeply to see how uncaring liberals are and how they go after the poor and continue to attack them. I live in a low income area and have converted alot of liberals when they realize that the "wealthy" liberals are only out to hurt and destroy their families.

We think, for instance, that increasing troop strength by 15% to where it was 3 years ago is a very thought provoking idea.
