You are 100% correct.
I think skirts are so cool and a lot of fun to wear. Guys can even wear shorter ones as long as they make sure everything is held up ok, wear a tighter one and then legs are likely to stay closed properly. I love wearing skirts & no, I'm not gay. 100% straight. Skirts just feel great and are fun to wear. I don't really wear one outside (except maybe Halloween :-) ). I have a couple of times and it went ok. Some people look a few times, most just ignore you or maybe don't even notice. Haven't run into any rude people yet but if I wore one more, I'm sure it would happen. Lets face it, guys clothes are pretty limited and boaring compared to what girls have to choose from.

You CAN wear a skirt. No one is stopping you. Be warned though: you have to go far back in the Geek Forrest to see a guy wearing a skirt....past the Dungeons and Dragons geeks, past the Civil War re-inactor geeks, way past all the geeks that think The Hobbit is real literature, past the Trekkie's... are you lost yet?

I agree, we need to wear dresses or skirts out in public just like women wear mens clothing in public. We need to wear modest length skirts or dresses so we dont show our private parts. I think society will eventually be more accepting if we do not dress like hookers.
I always wear knee length or longer skirts or dresses when I go out in public every day, yes I do get a few stares, but most peaple are alright with me as a man in a dress, some peaple ask why, I tell them that is what I prefer to wear, and they seem to understand. the peaple who see me every day at work or at the stores around town are very understanding, and very welcoming.
men should wear skirts, I am not gay, and it is not a gay issue. in fact most gay men do not like men wearing dresses.

Wearing pants vs. skirts was a mechanism through which society rigidly divided the sexes.
There have been kilts,
togas,
and all sorts of skirts for males.

a dude could wear a skirt but I would skip the heels just incase you should have to run from a pickup load of red necks out gay bashin they wont care that your not gay i would recomend a new balance running shoe but a nice flat might be okay and if your gonna carry a hand bag make sure you pack your mace .

Yeah, only girls get to have a wide range of clothing choices. Men do not get to wear sexy, sensual feeling materials or clothing that fits close to the body and that turns you on.
You my man, like every other guy, are a pet on a leash. Nothing sexy unless it is from a limited palette of choices as determined by the most narrow minded women around you.

it's just that when they wear certain things (ie clothing designed for women like a skirt or a dress) judgments are made upon them.
if you don't give a sh_t about what other people think and the assumptions that will be made upon you, then wear the da_n skirt. go for it!

Men wear skirts, but they're kilts. Being from far Celtic descendence, I have nothing against kilts and would it be common to see it here, i'd wear one also.

dude no body said you can't wear it go ahead people are free to wear what they want i mean look at marylin manson he wears makeup so your right go ahead and wear a skirt one day just don't get bothered if people make fun of you or look at you weird then again it's your choice so do what ever you want you are free to express and wear anything
