Shouldn't everyone be proud of their race?

I am, and people call me a racist. OK, I am. What's so bad about being proud of your own people? I don't hate anybody because of the color of their skin. I hate them because of the way that they act. And if the traits that I find despicable in a person are most prevalent in ******, then so be it.

Don't say anything about how we all bleed, eat, breathe, reproduce, and die. Because snakes and monkeys do all that stuff, but you wouldn't compare youselves to them, would you?

also call me what u want, but u hate all black people because of how most act, i can assure u that i am not the stereotypical black person, but no matter how a black person acts there is always gonna be someone who hates us because of our skin color. same goes for every race. i mean racist find any reason to say they hate a race as an excuse, i wanna know how racism really started, when we were all on our continents minding our own business and then boom.

nothing is wrong with being proud of your race, its just that when white people talk about pride and all that they are usually racist. u can have pride without hatred, when they have parades and all that to show about hispanic pride and all that any one is invited to come and support no matter what race, but when u see white people trying to spread their pride, they usually dont wanna unclude any non-whites.

i am not one to sit and try and act like my race dont do ****, i comment about it all the time, i am not racist, my race isnt perfect so i dont feel the need to hate another!!!!!

I think everyone should be proud or their race and culture. I think everyone should learn everything they can about it and embrace their heritage. However I disagree that you should hate an entire race based on traits. I hate liars, so should I assume a race of people should all be hated because I met one person from that race that lied. That's just to much hate for me. But more power to you if that's how you want to live your life. If hate is what you believe in go for it, if your are racist so be it. I refuse to let you and your comments make me hate or dislike anyone. I choose who I like and don't like by the deeds they do to me. If I do not know you then I can't say if I will like you or not simply by the way you look. I am a much bigger person than that.

Being proud of your race is as redundant as being proud of having small feet. be proud of things you achieve.

1. you can be proud of your race, but that shouldn't mean having to hate others as a way to define yourself

2. you're in a circle. you don't like blacks because of the way they act, so you'll never become friends with a black person, and thus discover that all blacks don't act that way.

3. i am proud of my heritage. i don't like racist whites, or whites who are ignorant, etc. That's a big difference from saying "i don't like white people". or "white people on tv seem nerdy and different and can't dance, so i don't want to hang with White people" i would have lost out on many good friends if I'd felt that way

i'm going to rephrase this question some circumstances and it my shed some gentle on it? Is it appropriate to be happy with the certainty that my white German ancestors killed Jews and enslaved blacks? No Is it appropriate to be happy with my white German ancestors forming a great number of the yankee political and academic equipment? confident How relating to the white German ancestors who antagonistic people who killed the Jews and enslaved the blacks? it could be great to hold those adult men and girls with great honor. there are various deeds and cultural issues worth being happy with. We already do have fun those issues in many techniques. issues like examining Shakespeare in intense college is an occasion of this. sometimes it could be sturdy to remember that lots of the failings we study whites, are not getting the adjective white tacked directly to it. it can be a greater advantageous international if we stopped tacking on adjectives like he's black or he's white.

we are all of the same race which is called the human race. the ethnic backgrounds are all human no matter what anyone says. we all bleed, eat, drink, rest, reproduce, live and die. what difference is there in one person than another except for the pigment of color in the skin --- none that I can see. each person is the same as another except for personality and differences in culture and society teachings

I am proud of myself, but not of my ethnicity. People of every ethnicity do sh*tty things, so it's a huge overgeneralization to be "proud" of my entire ethnicity.

But there's nothing wrong with being proud of your heritage - in fact that is what keeps America strong.

It's when you see things in such black and white terms (no pun intended) that it goes awry.

Loving yourself doesn't mean hating everyone else.

Taking pride in something that you had no control over is moronic. If you want to be taken seriously, claim pride in something you have actually accomplished. That is, if you are capable of accomplishing something worthy of pride.
