No such thing as unconditional love. Love has conditions, including trust, truth, and emotional availability. Love is intrusive (read pain in the ***) because it DOES impose rules and restrictions on us once we get hooked on it. We have to behave decently and not lie or else love freezes up and stops like a computer lock up. Not sure why, but you're right that there are rules.

There's no such thing as unconditional love, thats why. No matter who you are, or what you do. You're not with someone solely because they want you to be. But because its what you want too.
There you have it, "what you want" thats why its unconditional.

Love faces us with difficulties because life does, and love is part of life. If everything was fine and hunky dory would you really care about the person your with that much? ... i think not, those situations that you went through together, that you shared, thats what makes love special, makes love worthwhile. That's what makes love what it is, and gives it value.

Why the trials and tribulations, cause no-ones completely selfless, ...and they make your heart what it is!

Unconditional love is not limited ...that's why it is unconditional. Life and love are full of rough roads but if it was all good we'd never appreciate it. If you are in a situation that is more bad times than good it's time to get out and move on.

Just want to disagree with the first answer - there is unconditional love - what about that between a mother and her child. She will love him no matter what even when he is bad.

Love should never be limited you should give your whole heart.

love itself is not limited. We limit it because we are only human and sometimes unable to forgive others humanness. Only God is capable of providing unconditional love. To expect unconditional love from another human is unrealistic.

For a simple fact that good things dont come easy. And for another fact that its life....life can never be smooth and good all the time. It reaches speedbumps and turns and back ups, just like something that is part of our life....love.

But good things come to those who wait. There is going to be a light in a tunner...watch!
