MANTRA: The names of God; sacred words or divine sounds invested with the power to protect, purify, and transform the individual who repeats them. A mantra received from an enlightened Master is filled with the power of the Master's attainment.
ALSO - MANTRA: A syllable or phrase that is repeated over and over again and which has spiritual significance and tremendous power.
There are literally hundreds of mantras. But the greatest significance of a mantra is that you receive it from a Sadguru -is the term given to a guru who has attained the very highest state of enlightenment - who has completely consummated his spiritual journey and attained the very highest attainment that a human being can attain. Such a Guru will ONLY give you a mantra that he himself used on his path to enlightenment. Such a mantra will be fully imbibed with all the spiritual power of the Sadguru and thus will be all powerful. A recipient of it can consider himself supremely fortunate because if he faithfully repeats it according to the Sadguru's instructions he cannot fail to attain the Sadguru's state. Some so-called gurus hand out many mantras that the guru himself has not employed and so will be found not to be effective. It's very important therefore to seek a true Sadguru. If one's heart is pure and one is a true seeker he will draw the true guru to him. I recommend that you read some of the many books of Swami Muktananda,, a wonderful Sadguru, and Siddha Yoga teacher. You can find the titles on line and purchase them on-line

in case you study the characteristics that are championed with information from Christianity (servitude, weak point, submission, abstinence), you'll discover they are all deplorable & self debasing. briefly - Christianity is anti-human. each and everything which makes us human is appeared on as EVIL. As Christians, you're to be spiritually beaten into submission & made to sense dependant on its "salvation". obviously noone ever totally complies with its demands - conserving them in bondage & continuously in debt to an offended & vengeful God who terrorizes you till lack of existence. If this isn't adequate to screw someone up - i do not understand what's.
