I want to be able to play games on my PC, City of Heroes in particular, but don't want to spend too much on it.
I found a GeForce 6600 LE that supposedly fits my system, what would you all suggest?

Well I don't recommend anything less than a 7300 for gaming (preferably a 7900, but that might be more than you want to spend) You may run into power issues with any newer PCI-E video card if the system only has a 300W power supply. I was able to run CoH on a Geforce 6800 with a 300W PSU, so the 6600LE might be ok.

But many 300W systems might not handle anything more demanding than integrated video, especially if you've got dual DVD/CD drives or a 2nd hard drive pulling power as well.

To be honest, I'd upgrade the Power Supply first- that opens up a whole realm of video upgrade options for you.

although you should watch the power supply wattage requirement...8 out of 10 times, most video cards will run fine w/ a weaker than required power supply (as long as it isn't a REALLY demanding video card like an 8800) [i have a bro that runs a 7800gs w/ 350w requirement on a 280w power supply with no problems]

...that being said...pick a card that matches your budget. Stay in the nVidia GeForce 7 series or the ATI Radeon x1xxxx series.

I sought for 10 minutes. there are various good pictures taking part in cards that fit on your funds that could actual handle that recreation.the priority is all of them choose a minimum of a 300w ability grant. for yet another $30 ($a hundred and ten entire) you will get the two.
