Not sure if you're into video games, but there's a pretty cool video game cafe (not arcade) on north Halsted St. in Lincoln park called Escape (http://metromix.chicagotribune.com/search/102144,0,5084432.venue). It has the latest games, state of the art systems and high def monitors and sound. You can rent a private room for you and your friends.

As far as clubs and music, there are a few places in Chicago for people your age. Not sure if the Fireside Bowl is still open, but it specialized in all ages punk shows, etc. The Metro also has a lot of all ages shows and features big national acts. Both of these places are listed on this page of all-ages venues (http://metromix.chicagotribune.com/barsandclubs/search-venues.front?attribute-mmx-bar-styles=mmx-bar-styles-All+Ages&attribute-mmx-dance-styles=mmx-dance-styles&attribute-mmx-music-styles=mmx-music-styles&keywords=). And you can always go bowling, which is sort of fun. There's a place called Diversey Rock N Bowl (http://metromix.chicagotribune.com/search/28049,0,1015440.venue) that has a live DJ that spins as you bowl, special blacklight bowling and a small diner. Lucky Strike lanes (http://metromix.chicagotribune.com/search/104860,0,6984983.venue) is in the same building at an AMC theater so you could catch a movie and then bowl. It's a little pricey, but you might run into a celebrity or two; a lot of them come there to bowl a game or two when they're in town.

There aren't too many clubs for 18 yr olds in ChiTown, there is one I believe in Naperville, IL. But you can do plenty of sightseeing while in Chicago, go see the Fields Museum, Museum of Science & Industry, Planetarium or Shedds Aquarium. Also there is some great shopping on Michigan Ave. If you would like to see some outlets, there is few outlet malls but you will have to travel outside of the city: Aurora, Gurnee and Huntley have some nice outlet stores and they are about 40 min drive from the city. Have fun and enjoy your stay!

USD is a very homogenous campus with dorms. in case you lived there you would not ought to discover an section to stay however that's intense priced! that's a private Catholic college subsequently the intense training however it is a very solid college and once you're from out of state you've to pay out of state training expenditures for u.s. or San Diego State besides. The college of San Diego's campus is the most captivating college campus I really have ever considered and it is positioned on the top of a hill overlooking the sea. you would possibly want to probable like it there, yet be warned that there are way better females attending then boys. it is like sixty 5% females for some reason. i guess they don't call it the college of Spoiled Daughters for not something. solid success. the elements is impressive right here.
