The best place to start will be your local community college. Most community colleges offer a two-year nursing program where you finish up eligible to take your NCLEX-RN. You'll have the same license as a BSN (Bachelor's degree) in half the time. If you go talk to admissions counselors at your community college, they will be able to tell you the admissions requirements, any pre-requisites and recommended courses to take before applying, and how much it will cost. Good luck - nursing is a great career, with lots of potential to grow and do just about anything. :)
